Whether he is shedding a block on the perimeter or fighting through press coverage at the line of scrimmage, his ability to manipulate an opponent's balance is a direct result of his time on the mat. This "wrestler's toughness" was on full display during this past season's clash against Edmond North, where he rose above two defenders for a critical catch and later sealed the victory with a game-winning interception.

While wrestling provides the grit, the track provides the explosive "second gear" that makes Denten a constant deep threat. As a multi-sport athlete, his track experience has refined his sprinting mechanics, giving him the closing speed necessary to erase a quarterback's margin for error.
