Mustang High School junior QB earns scholarship offer following conversation with NAU coaching staff
OKLAHOMA CITY - OklaNews -- Kason Delgado's recruitment continues to build momentum as the Mustang High School quarterback secured his fourth Division I scholarship offer from Northern Arizona University.
Delgado announced the offer on his Twitter account (@KasonDelgado): "After a great conversation with @coachpjlondon I am blessed to receive my 4th division 1 offer from @NAU_Football #RaiseTheFlag"
The NAU offer joins previous scholarship offers from Hawaii, Nicholls State, and Towson. Delgado, ranked #1 among Oklahoma quarterbacks and #94 nationally by QB Hitlist, has also drawn significant interest from Oklahoma State, New Mexico, Missouri, UTEP, and Ivy League programs including Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.
The 6'2", 185-pound junior has compiled 4,377 career passing yards with 49 total touchdowns while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. He holds the single-game passing record at Muskogee with 404 yards and became the first freshman quarterback to start at Union High School since 1979.
