MUSTANG, Okla. – Mustang High School has secured one of Oklahoma's premier quarterback talents as Kason Delgado, the state's top-ranked signal-caller for the class of 2027, announced his move from Muskogee High School.
OKLAHOMA CITY - OklaNews -- The Mustang Broncos have landed a premier talent in 6'2", 185-pound dual-threat quarterback Kason Delgado. Boasting a career resume of 4,377 passing yards and 49 touchdowns, Delgado arrives with legitimate Division I credentials, holding offers from Hawaii, Nicholls State, and Towson. Currently ranked the #1 quarterback in Oklahoma by QB Hitlist, his recruitment includes interest from Oklahoma State and visits to elite programs like Miami, Tennessee, and Oklahoma.
Delgado's production is backed by elite athleticism, including a 4.55 forty-yard dash and a game-clocked speed of 21.38 MPH. During his recent tenure at Muskogee, he posted a 66% completion rate for 2,239 yards and 28 total touchdowns. His resume also features a single-game record 404 passing yards at Santa Fe and a historic start as a freshman at Union High School.

Beyond the stats, Delgado is a 4.0 GPA student and National Honor Society member. His disciplined approach—rooted in wrestling, boxing, and a "chess-match" film study style—reflects a high-level processing speed and a relentless work ethic. "I'll perform on the field and study my tail off so I'm ready," says Delgado, who carries a competitive edge fueled by his desire to prove himself to national recruiting services.
The move to Mustang is a family affair; his younger brother, Kruz Delgado—a top-10 ranked 2029 defensive back prospect—will also join the program. With a stated goal of winning the 2027 state championship, Kason's arrival signals a transformative chapter for the Broncos.
